I wrote this a cappella song years ago for a group of friends to sing. Half of them were from Princeton, and the other half were routinely obliged to participate in Princeton-centric activities (like singing corny songs). I released it online for our 20th reunion, and I hope you enjoy singing it!
lyrics
The Princeton flame has caught on me
Orange and black, and black and orange
Inspiring prosperity
Fizzle and fazzle and
Fanned by
The wind that I allow to start
Orange and black, and black and orange
Ribbons tied around my heart
Hurrah hurrah and hur-
rah to Old Nassau
Sing a song with me
Share a memory
Stripe it black furry
Orange New Jersey
Pet your pedigree
Embrace bourgeoisie
Ride the letter "P"
Black and orange me
Hallowed history
Fortress fantasy
Jolly jamboree
Post pedagogy
Seal of symmetry
Destiny will re-
peat it's promise for
Me Black and orange me
Me black and orange Hur-
rah to Old Nassau
